Elizabeth Everett, LMT, Yoga Instructor

Elizabeth Everett has been a Massage therapist for 20 years and is the founder of Lighthouse Massage Center. Established in May 2003. She has completed a 620 hour program at the Ann Arbor Institute of Massage Therapy in 1999.   She continued her education in Denver, Colorado, obtaining certificates in DeepFeet Bar Therapy® and  Hot LavaStone Therapy™with Ruthie Piper Hardie. She was recognized in the “Top of the Town” edition of Denver’s 5280 magazine in 2002.  She has been voted best massage therapist for the People’s Choice Awards six times in the Grand Ledge community. She has studied alongside John F. Barnes, P.T. and completed Myofascial Release I, II, and Unwinding as well as the 40 hour Skill Enhancement Seminar in Sedona, AZ.  She has continued her passion for the healing arts and obtained her certificate as a 500 hour power yoga instructor under Hilarie Lockwood, Hilltop Yoga.  She has worked on several tours with Stage Hands Massage doing massage and yoga for many celebrities.  The Fray, Foreigner, OneRepublic, Umphrey's Mcgee, Roger Waters, Journey, SchoolBoy Q, Miley Cyrus, and Fall Out Boy are just to name a few.  Elizabeth recently traveled to Athens, Georgia and recieved her 50 hour Yoga Trapeze Training Certificate.  She is now certified to teach the YOGABODY Trapeze to beginner and intermediate students/clients. She enjoys practicing and teaching massage and yoga, reading, gardening, cooking, snowboarding, jeeping, being at the lake and of coarse last but not least spending time with her family, friends, and english lab Bear.
